Open to students in grades K–12, the summit features interactive workshops, inspiring speakers, and engaging activities tailored by age group. We’re also welcoming mentors and volunteers who want to pour into the next generation.

Saily is a young rising artist who started doing art at 3 years old. She enjoys sketching, painting, and digital art. She also likes to sing and spend time with family and friends.

Census K. Lo-liyong, MPA
Speaker
Census K. Lo-liyong, owner of Horizon Public Strategies is a policy professional, advocate, and entrepreneur committed to leadership and community service. Born in South Sudan, raised in South Africa, and now based in the U.S., she holds a Master of Public Administration from Drake University. Census has built a career in policy and government relations, serves with the American Red Cross of Iowa Board, and mentors communities in leadership and growth.

Erick Nganyange
Speaker
Erick Nganyange was born and raised in Tanzania and moved to the United States as a teenager 25 years ago, eventually making Iowa his home. An accountant with over a decade of professional experience, he is equally passionate about personal growth and giving back to his community. Erick mentors young people in critical thinking and character development, hosts podcasts on history, philosophy, and meaningful dialogue, and is an avid reader of literature and philosophy. His journey from Tanzania to the U.S. has shaped his belief in the power of resilience, adaptability, and the transformative impact of dialogue, mentorship, and literacy on individuals and communities.
